Using Unlock Code for Garmin

Once you received CarteBlanche Ukraine NT or CarteBlanche Ukraine map Unlock Code for your GPS navigator, you may use it to:

• Download the latest version of the map
• Install the map onto your GPS navigation device directly
• Unlock the map in Garmin MapSource program (CarteBlanche Ukraine for Garmin version 3.60 or earlier only)

Downloading the latest version of the map

To download the latest version of the map, proceed to Support > Updates > Garmin section and follow the instructions given.

Installing the map onto your GPS navigation device directly

CarteBlanche Ukraine map can be installed directly on Garmin or compatible GPS navigators, which can be connected to PC in USB Mass Storage mode (some may require switching to this mode), or which support memory cards or cartridges.

To install CarteBlanche Ukraine NT map onto GPS navigation device or memory card or cartridge directly, make sure that you have the latest CarteBlanche Ukraine NT map installation, run it, when prompted for Unlock Code, enter it.

To install CarteBlanche Ukraine map onto GPS navigation device or memory card or cartridge directly, make sure that you have the CarteBlanche Ukraine map installation version 3.60, run it, when prompted for installation type, choose Direct, when prompted for Unlock Code, enter it.

Entering Unlock Code in Garmin MapSource program

CarteBlanche Ukraine for Garmin version 3.60 or earlier only

You may need to use CarteBlanche Ukraine map in Garmin MapSource program if your GPS navigator cannot be connected to PC in USB Mass Storage mode and does not support memory cards or cartridges (or you do not have appropriate card reader), or if you want to install CarteBlanche Ukraine map into the same navigator's memory together with any other supplemental (not factory preinstalled) map, or if you want to use CarteBlanche Ukraine map on PC.

Please note that Garmin MapSource program is not included in CarteBlanche Ukraine map installation. It may be included in your GPS navigator's package (including as Trip & Waypoint Manager), or in some other supplemental map installation. The latest update version of Garmin MapSource program can be downloaded from www.garmin.com, Support menu, Updates & Downloads, Mapping Programs, MapSource, Download.

Install Garmin MapSource program before installing CarteBlanche Ukraine map.

To use CarteBlanche Ukraine map in Garmin MapSource program, run CarteBlanche Ukraine map installation, and when prompted for installation type, choose MapSource. After finishing the installation, run MapSource. Locked Maps Detected window should appear. Click Unlock Maps:

If you have already skipped maps unlock, or want to add another CarteBlanche Ukraine map unlock code to your MapSource program, click Utilities menu, and then Manage Map Products menu item:

Map Product Manager window will appear. Click Unlock Regions tab:

Then click Add button:

Add Unlock Region window will appear. Enter Unlock Code you have received, click OK button, then click Close button in Map Product Manager window:

Now you can use CarteBlanche Ukraine map in Garmin MapSource program on PC, or load it by means of MapSource to GPS navigator, for which you have obtained the Unlock Code.
