A dialog box with username and password request will appear. Please enter the 10-digit Unit ID of the device for which the map has been unlocked as a username, and the 25-character unlock code as a password. Please note that the unlock code should be entered in upper-case letters and with dashes. (It can be copied from the email you have received when unlocking the map. We strongly recommend to select the code from right to left to avoid copying the end of line character.)
If you have not ordered unlocking by yourself, but rather have purchased a device with an already installed map, the set should include a print-out with the Unit ID and unlock code, or at least an unlock coupon which can be used repeatedly on the unlock code order page to receive the unlock code for your device.
After entering the username and the password a window with an offer to save or execute the file will appear. Please save the file on your PC and after that run it and follow the instructions.
